Graphic Designer

We are seeking an experienced graphic designer to join our rapidly growing team to work in partnership with the Creative Director. The following description is our ideal list of qualifications, however we will consider candidates that do not meet all of these requirements if there is sufficient experience, demonstrated talent and alignment of purpose, passion and vision.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion
• Responsible for delivering and maintaining top quality design work in alignment with brand guidelines and  standards throughout all phases of the project
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure each unique perspective is considered and brand integrity is maintained through a cohesive brand strategy
• Actively contribute to creative brainstorming sessions to generate ideas, identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
• Maintain a professional brand presence and liaise with the Creative Director to ensure brand consistency throughout all channels
• Collaborate with the marketing team and key stakeholders to establish brand guidelines and develop a cohesive social media strategy for promotional campaigns and ongoing brand awareness
• Collaborate with other members of the content marketing team to conceptualize, plan and execute successful marketing campaigns by determining scope and realistic deadlines for design content
• Create, implement and maintain design elements and templates that support strategic marketing objectives and communications goals
• Build and maintain the asset library (graphics, illustrations, digital photography, etc.) in accordance with brand guidelines
• Produce engaging and creative graphics for use on websites and landing pages, and across a variety of content marketing including social media platforms, videos, written content, presentations, and infographics
• Build and manage website, including updates and maintenance based on established communications plans and marketing strategies
• Design and implement mockups for interior pages of the website and create custom elements as required
• Utilize web optimization methods to enhance web presence and increase traffic
• Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas that challenge conventional thinking

• Strong understanding of layout and design fundamentals (layout, balance, composition) with an exceptional eye for detail, layout and consistency
• Highly skilled in web design, graphics production and user interface design
• Advanced knowledge of applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Webflow, Marvel, Keynote, Canva, etc.
• A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking
• Ability to synthesize abstract ideas into concrete design implications
• Passion about all things design and an insatiable desire to solve big problems with elegant solutions
• A lifelong learner that has deep knowledge of the latest design trends and technologies
• An appreciation for transparent design and the humility to design for the end user
• An informed opinion, substantiated by experience and/or data
• Empathy, integrity, curiosity, humility and self-awareness
